Let yourself be enchanted by the turquoise-blue sea and breathtaking scenery as you enjoy a kayak tour of up to six kilometers through the unique fjord of Boka Bay. From the kayak—either solo or in tandem—you will discover some of Montenegro’s oldest towns, settlements, and villages.

The tour begins in Kotor, one of the most beautiful towns in Montenegro. Just the sight of the old town will transport you back to the Middle Ages. Magnificent churches and cathedrals, lavish private palaces, solid stone city walls, and a dramatic mountain backdrop are all part of the experience that awaits you.

As we paddle along, we pass elegant private homes and palaces in the town of Dobrota, learning along the way about the people, folklore, customs, geography, and rich cultural history of the Boka Bay area. Join us and dive into the valuable heritage of the ancient settlements of Kotor and Prčanj. The waves of the sea whisper stories of powerful rulers, noble families, and famous captains and seafarers of Boka Bay. Among them, the most renowned is Ivo Vizin from Prčanj, who was the first man from this region—and the sixth in the world after Magellan—to circumnavigate the globe on his ship Splendido. The majestic mountains Lovćen and Orjen, which have guarded the bay for centuries, will constantly catch your eye.

ITINERARY

Arrival in Kotor

We travel by bus to the town of Kotor. Upon arrival, we familiarize ourselves with the kayak and begin the tour.

This kayaking adventure is suitable for all ages, as the level of difficulty is easy. Throughout the entire 6-kilometer route, we are accompanied by a professional guide, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the beauty of the bay.

The tour starts at 10:00 AM and ends around 1:00 PM. Along the way, we’ll take a swimming break to cool off in the Adriatic Sea. We recommend wearing swimwear, bringing sunscreen, and—if needed—a bottle of water or juice.
