Sardine Stew


Ingredients for 4 servings:
1 kg of sardines
300 g peeled tomatoes

1/2 of a red onion
4 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley

100 ml white wine
olive oil, salt, pepper

Preparation:

Clean, wash and drain the sardines. Briefly sauté the chopped onion in olive oil. When the onion softens, add the garlic, tomatoes, white wine and parsley. Add salt and pepper, and cook briefly. Add the sardines and water, just enough to cover the fish. Add salt to taste and cook on a medium heat without stirring for another 10 minutes.
